Monte Grande digitises informed consents with Integrando Salud and Signaturit Group

Clínica Monte Grande has eliminated paper in critical informed consents thanks to Signaturit Group's biometric signature integrated into Integrando Salud's EHR. A solution that brings operational agility, document traceability and legal certainty to the clinical environment.

Monte Grande digitises informed consents with Integrando Salud and Signaturit Group

Clínica Monte Grande is a high-complexity private institution located in the province of Buenos Aires, with several sites, around 250 beds, more than 1,500 staff members and over 1,000 doctors across multiple specialities. It cares for patients of all ages and has been driving an institutional digital transformation strategy under a “Zero Paper” approach for years.

On that journey, they found in Integrando Salud — an Argentine HealthTech specialised in SaaS solutions for healthcare institutions — the technology partner capable of bringing electronic signature into the heart of the clinical process: the Electronic Health Record itself.

The Challenge

Managing informed consents was one of the most critical — and most manual — processes in the clinic’s daily operations. Every document required a long, paper-dependent workflow: printing the consent, handing it to the patient, collecting the handwritten signature, scanning it and archiving it. A flow that generated multiple friction points:

The goal was clear: integrate the signature directly into the Electronic Health Record, without forcing the healthcare team to leave the system and without compromising on the legal validity that an informed consent requires.

The Solution

Together with Signaturit Group, Integrando Salud embedded VIDsigner Bio’s biometric signature into its Electronic Health Record platform. The integration manages the entire consent lifecycle without leaving the clinical environment: the professional generates or selects the document, the patient views it on a compatible tablet, signs it with a stylus, and it is automatically encrypted and linked to their health record.

VIDsigner Bio technology captures biometric trace evidence — pressure, speed and inclination — and preserves it within the document itself, providing legal guarantees equivalent to a handwritten signature.

After an initial rollout focused on critical informed consents in 2024, usage gradually expanded to other key areas:

“It’s not just about signing documents without paper. It’s about embedding legal evidence directly into the clinical flow, so that the Electronic Health Record becomes safer, more traceable and more efficient.”Sergio D. Montenegro, CEO at Integrando Salud

Results and Impact

Since go-live, Clínica Monte Grande has transformed a critical process into a smooth digital experience for both patients and professionals. The benefits are tangible across every dimension of the workflow:

Better experience for patients and professionals, with no system fragmentation.
Greater operational agility and reduced waiting times in patient care.
Progressive elimination of paper and savings on supplies (toner, photocopies, physical archiving).
Better document traceability and immediate availability of consents within the EHR.
Stronger legal certainty thanks to biometric evidence linked to every signature.

For the patient, signing on a tablet feels as natural as signing on paper, but with full legal certainty. For the healthcare team, the advantage is structural: the consent is instantly available within the system, with no need to print, scan or physically archive.

“Thanks to the biometric signature integrated into our Electronic Health Record, we were able to eliminate paper in critical consents, gain operational agility and strengthen the legal certainty of every signed document.”Dr. Claudia Dreyer, Medical Auditor at Centro Médico Monte Grande

A technology partnership for digital healthcare

The collaboration between Integrando Salud and Signaturit Group, a Namirial Company shows that the future of digital healthcare lies in fully integrated clinical processes, where identity, consent and traceability become part of a single care flow.

A model that can be replicated in clinics, hospitals, surgical centres and healthcare networks with high document volumes.
