Powens and Signaturit Group join forces to offer faster identity and credit verification processes
  • This alliance enables the automatic verification of users’ identity and creditworthiness by connecting their banking data, with their consent, in just seconds.
  • This integration reduces friction, eliminates manual processes, and strengthens regulatory compliance in sectors such as banking, insurance, and real estate.

Barcelona – 19 March 2026 Signaturit Group, a leading provider of electronic signatures, identification, and digital certificates, and Powens, a key player in Open Banking in Europe, announce a strategic alliance aimed at transforming the identity validation and creditworthiness assessment experience.

Through this collaboration, Signaturit Group integrates Powens’ Open Banking (AIS) technology into its platform, enabling a secure connection to users’ bank accounts with their consent. This integration automates the retrieval of financial and identity data such as income, expenses, IBAN, or account ownership, in accordance with PSD2 standards, simplifying identity verification and credit assessment.

Data flow between the two platforms is conducted via encrypted channels and strong authentication protocols, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users maintain control and authorization to access and use their banking information, which is used exclusively for auditing and analysis purposes.

This integration automates key steps of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, minimizing manual checks and improving the consistency and reliability of data. For companies, this translates into a more agile onboarding process, a smoother user experience, and better decision-making in sectors such as finance, insurance, and real estate.

Powens and Signaturit Group thus reinforce their commitment to a safer, more transparent, and reliable digital identity, helping to drive the adoption of Open Banking across Europe.

“With the integration of Powens’ AIS services into our platform, we are taking another step toward the complete digitization of onboarding and identity verification processes. This enables our clients to automatically extract banking and financial information, reducing the time required and ensuring regulatory compliance across Europe,” explains Michaël Lakhal, Product Director at Signaturit Group.

Nicolas Ribeaut, Chief Revenue Officer at Powens, adds: “We are excited about this collaboration with Signaturit Group. By integrating Powens’ Open Banking data into their workflows, Signaturit enables its clients to obtain instant and reliable financial information, facilitating fast, real-time decision-making. Our technology applied to credit assessment provides key metrics: income, expenses, and banking behaviors that speed up decisions, reduce risks, and simplify the user experience. Additionally, by automating KYC processes, Signaturit reduces human error and eases compliance with regulatory obligations.”

The solution is already integrated into Signaturit Group’s platform and is available in France and Spain.

This agreement is the result of a shared vision to promote a comprehensive European digital identity and trust ecosystem, combining technology, innovation, and regulatory compliance to bring tangible value to businesses and users.
