Namirial among the first fully eIDAS 2-compliant European QTSPs

Namirial among the first fully eIDAS 2-compliant European QTSPs

Namirial is already anticipating the new standards of the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet).

With one of the broadest certified process scopes on the market, Namirial secures the continuous issuance of qualified certificates across Europe today.

Milan, Paris, Barcelona, June 2, 2026 – Namirial, a pan-European leader in qualified trust services (QTSP), announces the completion of its compliance process with the requirements introduced by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 (eIDAS 2), following the submission of the supplementary compliance report to AgID.

The company is among the very first European providers to have obtained certification for its digital identification platform “Namirial Onboarding” as early as November 2025, implementing technologies already certified at the highest levels, with one of the most extensive portfolios of certified processes on the market.

The certified flows cover all remote identification methods currently available: from documentary verification combined with NFC reading and facial biometrics, to integration with a reinforced eID, through to mandatory operator review with liveness detection for cases requiring it.

The certification of the flow based on the EUDI Wallet and Namirial Wallet is particularly innovative: fully automated and based on the presentation of the digital identity attestation (PID), this process positions Namirial at the forefront of the European digital identity wallet ecosystem.

Namirial has also obtained the Conformity Assessment Report (CAR) for its remote management service of qualified signature creation devices (rQSCD), completing its compliance not only on identity verification processes, but also on its remote signature and seal infrastructure.

eIDAS 2 compliance covers the entire European scope of the group: in addition to Italy, Namirial has finalised the compliance process in Spain and France, confirming its ability to operate as a pan-European QTSP in a uniform and coordinated manner across the continent’s main markets.

“This recognition confirms Namirial’s proactive commitment to compliance and security. With processes certified at the highest level and continuous investment, the company is already prepared for eIDAS 2 requirements, while guaranteeing continuity, security and compliance for its European clients. The PVID certification issued by ANSSI illustrates this proactive and structured approach to compliance,” says Michaël Lakhal, Namirial CPO Group

Further demonstrating this approach, the company already collaborates with more than ten remote identification partners, whose solutions are associated with Namirial electronic signatures. This enables Namirial to offer banks, telecom operators, regulated entities, public administrations and businesses across Europe one of the most extensive certified onboarding networks among QTSPs on the European market.

With eIDAS 2 now fully applicable, Namirial enters the market with a compliance infrastructure that is already operational, certified, and ready to support the uninterrupted issuance of qualified certificates under the new European regulatory framework.
